This Month, Stephen and Vaughn tackle the 1966 Monte Hellman classic The Shooting. Starring Jack Nicholson, Warren Oates, and Millie Perkins, this film tells the story of a retired bounty hunter recruited by a young woman on a quest for revenge. Considered the first “acid western,” The Shooting takes a counter-culture approach to the old western trope of the hunt for justice and revenge.
